What does he bring to the table?

Anthony’s experience in the construction and engineering industry is not insignificant. He knows his way around standard and bespoke contracts such as JCT, FIDIC, NEC, IChemE and RIBA. He is familiar with and can readily interpret specifications, bills of quantities, programmes and complicated drawings. Anthony understands how the construction and engineering industry works.

This experience has its advantages when it comes to resolving parties’ disputes. Anthony regularly overcomes those impasses, which seem insurmountable. He is able to achieve this by the combination of his practical skills in the industry, legal and analytical skills as a barrister and an understanding from a tribunal’s point of view. He understands that it is not always necessary to establish strict legal rights to resolve the parties’ differences.

What has Anthony achieved as a Mediator

Anthony has successfully undertaken over 50 mediations as mediator. His commercial insight from the construction and engineering industry facilitates a practicable solution avoiding the risks and financial uncertainties associated with litigation.
